The Hamden Arts, Recreation and Culture Department is hosting its 27th annual Saturday Afternoon Family Entertainment Series, and its next event will take place, and on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m., the Puppet People will present “The Wizard of Oz.” in the Thornton Wilder Auditorium at the Miller Library Complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave.

Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m. in Thornton Wilder Auditorium, the Crabgrass Puppet Theater will present “Mr. Punch’s Christmas Carol.”
Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. in Thornton Wilder Auditorium, the Tanglewood Puppets will present “Dragon King.”
Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. in Thornton Wilder Auditorium, Casey Carle will present “Bubblemania.”
On March 7 at 1 p.m. in Thornton Wilder Auditorium, David Engel will present “Pirate School.”
