There was perfect weather, samples of just about every kind of food imaginable, music and people — lots and lots of people — at Friday’s third annual Food Truck Festival at Town Center Park.
After days of rain, Mother Nature decided to cooperate for the event, bringing mild temperatures and dry skies for the festival that closed out the 2014 season at the park. Earlier in the day, the last Farmers Market took place there, and the Food Truck Festival lasted into the night.
The lines at the trucks — which numbered close to 50 — were shorter than at the last festival, which seemed to please those in attendance. While the lines were shorter, probably because there were more trucks participating than ever, the park was still packed with people ranging from toddlers to seniors.
Congratulations to the Hamden Town Center Park Commission for another massively successful season at the Park!
