The Multicultural Children’s Museum and Creative Arts Center P.L.A.C.E. hosts its 8th annual Arts and Culture Festival Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Town Center Park, 2761 Dixwell Ave.
The festival will take place rain or shine. In case of rain, the festival will take place at Hamden Middle School, 2623 Dixwell Ave.
There will be live music, dance performances, a community mural, food, art activities and an inflatable slide. The center also will unveil its “P.L.A.C.E. on the Go!” mobile art & film studio trolley.
Admission is free. Some activities are free while others have a fee. All proceeds benefit the new P.L.A.C.E. Children’s Museum and Creative Art Center.
