The National Weather Service has issued another one effective for Hamden and the region from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, but this time the estimated accumulations are only in the 2-4″ range, good news for weary residents tired of shoveling.
“Snow develops Tuesday morning and will become moderate to locally heavy during the morning commute,” according to the NWS statement. “Snow mixes with and changes to rain before tapering off late Tuesday night.”
The morning commute is expected to be affected by the snow, according to the NWS.
