March 24:

Aldo Eduardo Cuccinello, 22, of 1562 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, was charged with breach of peace. He was arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

Michael Dauzat, 29, of 759 George St., New Haven, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court. He was held in lieu of $500 bond and is due to appear in Meriden Superior Court on April 7.

Nuqun L. Davis, 33, of 190 Winthrop Ave., New Haven, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to stay in the proper lane. He was held in lieu of $1,00 bond and is due to appear in Meriden Superior Court on April 7. … Continue Reading

Oct. 19:

Sandra Maynard, 48, of 143 Henry St., Apt. B, New Haven, was charged with third-degree larceny and third-degree burglary. She was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and arraigned Nov. 2 in Meriden Superior Court.

Ezekiel Joel Baker, 20, of 29 Wellington Road, New Haven, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree strangling. He was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court. … Continue Reading

Fire broke out at a Kelly Road home Thursday. Credit: HFD.

The Hamden Fire Department responded to four fires in a three-day period this week, including a blaze that seriously damaged a Kelly Road home.

Two people escaped that fire, which damaged the rear of the home and the attic. The Red Cross was on the scene to provide aid to the victims. The department’s Second Platoon responded to the call. … Continue Reading
